Another Week Gone By

I am so fortunate to be able to spend time with these children!  Here is what we have been up to in the classroom this week:

Pin Pushing fish shapes.

Building words with the Moveable Alphabet (see this post).

Tracing leaf shapes with the Botany Cabinet.

Sand Art

Trinomial Cube

Practicing with the Zipper Frame.

Flower Arranging - especially lovely in March (in Maine!)

Extensions with the Pink Tower and Brown Stair.

Extension work with Numbers 11-19.

Learning about phonograms with the Phonogram Box.

Land, Air, and Water sorting.
   

Understanding of the concept of  'zero' with the Spindle Boxes.

Exploring dimensions of size with the Knobless Cylinders


Learning about famous artists with Child-Size Masterpieces.

Land and Water Forms

And when when the weather prevented us from going outside...
