I am an AMS teacher trainer and am gathering blogs to give our teachers in training during Music and Art. I will pass this site along to them. It is a wonderful reference!
Secondly, I was one of the first cohort members in St. Kate's AM2 program. I loved it! I recommend it to anyone.
Third, I am set to start my own little school (after 19 years) so I am reading your posts to learn from you in that way, as well.
Thanks so much!AMontessoriTeacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01541296785380022388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489029184631294133.post-2501628214496117642012-11-14T18:07:28.477-05:002012-11-14T18:07:28.477-05:00I would definitely consider them - it is ideal tha...I would definitely consider them - it is ideal that they are on a stand. However I'm very afraid to purchase them not knowing the true quality. Part of me really wants to take a chance!
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03727883354834790298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489029184631294133.post-37986379076251621092012-11-10T15:01:40.759-05:002012-11-10T15:01:40.759-05:00Yes! This year, I have not introduced them yet (I had packed them away at the end of the school year last year). Some of my returning kids have been asking for them, so I am planning to take them out again very soon. It is definitely worthwhile to make them, although I really wish I had the real thing! :)Sashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07813272126525499658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489029184631294133.post-12159424234000901692012-11-09T20:52:20.116-05:002012-11-09T20:52:20.116-05:00I am so curious as to how the bells have been goin...I am so curious as to how the bells have been going the past few months since you made them. I too would love to get the real thing, but unfortunately price is definitely the deciding factor. I am contemplating on making these, but would love to know if they've gone over well with the children. Thanks!! I am feeling pangs of envy!!!! ;)
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to this post (and for taking your set out of the garage!) :) It appears my 'damper' works quite well, so I'm glad you'll be able to make one too.Sashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07813272126525499658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489029184631294133.post-49909793186193907602012-02-28T18:14:35.054-05:002012-02-28T18:14:35.054-05:00This is a wonderful post! It inspired me to take out the full set of Nienhuis Montessori Bells I had sitting in my garage for the last many months (I know...I should be ashamed). I purchased them on Craigslist for an extremely reasonable price from an amazing teacher.

Anyway, I just wanted to write a quick thank you for this post and for the 'how to' on making a damper. The set I have came with a mallet but no damper.

As always, I look forward to your next post!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04107341407398500353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489029184631294133.post-28399738077577877212012-02-28T16:07:38.414-05:002012-02-28T16:07:38.414-05:00Thanks so much for your help and inspiration!!!
